| The singer knows the fact that she wants so much more from life and hates the fact that shes too afraid to go for them, assuming that shell never get them at all. By the end of the song, her fear convinces her that all that she wants are not worth it anyways and may have repercussions (the golden gun), with she being the one who will never be pleased. Even though she knows gold (could be happiness) is fun, she would rather stay dry than risk being saddened by happiness. Great song. | |
