BLG? Don't be ridiculous, dear, Ev Ave's one of a kind. ;) Very catchy with a clear meaning. Sweetest song of regret I've ever heard. Also one of my favorites off Picture Perfect. And it's "We WERE so naive" instead of "We're so naive." |

It looks fine to me. I'm shocked there aren't any comments, this song along with Tell Me I'm A Wreck are my two favorite from Picture Perfect. The meaning's kinda tricky if you ask me. A guy let a girl go, and he came back remembering the good times...but it loses me at "Another month that's faded away / Minutes feel like hours, hours like days / 'When will I see you again?' / She said, she said" I get confused right there. Still, some of Ev Ave's best work. They can't read me, but keep this up, guys! <3 |

This song is so pretty. I love it, and I love Every Avenue [check the username]. <3 The meaning seems sort of obvious to me. It's telling a story of a guy and his girlfriend or wife have been drifting apart, or fighting, and letting their angers out. This guy wants to fix things up, but he doesn't come out and tell her, "I want things to be right again." "...So erase the damages we've made The story left untold Is better than you know..." This means...well. The 'story left untold' would be how he feels, and how he wants to make it so right ('better than you know'). She just doesn't realize that he wants to patch things up. |
