theres 2 diff versions of the song. it sounds super weird but they had an original copy and a remake that came out a few years later. the lyrics are different on those lines. i listened to the song and on my version its the way its said up top and i have the original copy. crazy huh? |

Alright. If you've listened to Good Charlotte from the begining, their dad comes up a lot in their songs. Thats because Joel and Benji's father left them when they were 13 or so. This song is about their father leaving them, and that it was predictable he would do so. The part where Joel is screaming is him talking directly to his father. Aside from that I was watching a making the video thing on this song and the guys in the band say thats what this song is about.. so you know its legit. |
