| Every person to ever comment on this is wrong. Not trying to be demeaning, but, this song is in fact not about a girl. "Molly" in the song seems like it is a girl, but in fact it is about a drug called Methylenedioxymethamphetamine aslo know as Ecstasy, in the 70's it was MDMA, and was given to sick people as an anti-depressant, but it was illegalized in the late 70's because it was addicting and people would take it and not be able to stop and it would depress them more and cause them to go into a "Stress Chamber" where they couldnt even move or walk due to depression stress! notice the lyrics "And when she gets into your head, You know she's there to stay" and "Molly's Chambers gonna change your mind" and "Slow- she's burnin' in your soul, With whispers in your ear" these are all references to what the drug does. | |
