it is reflective of Marxism, to the degree that it’s trying to solve the same problem that Mark and his followers have observed, that is, what to do about suffering and injustice. More broadly, what should we do about suffering and injustice? I find that many people are correctlyperceiving the same problems in the world, but that even if they’re right about the problems, doesn’t mean that their solution is appropriate. |

@[Ovichsan:54744] I agree with what you said about historical missions. Often times they were very authoritarian ( to say the least). The other criticism is that they tend to obliterate the native cultures. In a wider context, I hope that people will not apply a call to burn and destroy to all authority and all institutions. It’s not always better to be a radical revolutionary rather than a productive citizen. |
