I agree with many things you folks have said and only offer that this song could mean many, many different things. I, however, would like to play devil's advocate and introduce the "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" theory.. 'Please don't strip my mind' - allow me to keep my precious memories of my past. Time/age, please do not rob me of my beautiful past experiences and please let me remember today exactly as it looks and I feel right at this moment. Thoughts? |
