Well, everyone has their opinion - this is mine: For me this song helped me out when i cheated on my bf (we’ve been arguing so much lately:P) with this dude that works in the same mall I do. Love this song - esp the end "Now he's left nothing here on earth, But ashes and a subatomic speck or dirt" So nice to have a song where a million other ppl haven't added their stuff so it's not like I'm re-hashing what been said over and over again. Anyway the last part of the song is what I relate to best - not being good enough for anyone to remember you: So long...So long - Oh well No one will miss me when I'm gone - as it says, no one gives a fuck My gravesite will be blank and unmarked - no one knows who you are, so there's nothing to be put on your gravestone. I think this also goes WAAAAY back to when the witches and murderers and whatnot used to have unmarked graves as no one wants to know who they are And underground alone in the dark - no other graves close by, so very seperate from everyone else\ I'll probably be a little pissed that The world just keeps on spinning like I never existed! - Well it happens. Earth don't give a shit about us :-P Chorus You can be sure there'll be no flowers - No one who cares enough to vist the grave or a name upon the stone - No one to remember me All it'll say is "Here lies some dead guy who lived his life alone; always afraid to say what might be ugly or unpopular" - Kinda like me: I'll do anything to avoid conflict and getting in ppl's hair Now he's left nothing here on earth But ashes and a subatomic speck or dirt - Well, that's what we all become, but in this case, there's absolutely NOTHING left behind, no family, no friends, just the shit we all become in the end. That probly doesn't help much, but that's my interpretation of the song:) |

This song is so wrong yet so cool at the same time. It's basically about being obsessed with someone and never letting them go. EVER. No matter what. I can almost relate it to MakeDamnSure by Taking Back Sunday. Another cool/freaky OCD song. |
