Lacuna Coil – Swamped Lyrics 16 years ago
Wow I really need to look at what I type

This was my first Lacuna Coil song and after hearing it i stuck a Lacuna Coil IV in my arm and haven't taken it out. Definitely one of their most powerful songs they've ever made. But this song to me is about getting over a past experience that had a real impact on you hence the

"When you're taught through feelings"

and

"Destiny can't replace my life
Scary shadows of my past
are alive"

"It's just a melody
it bleeds in me
hard to believe
that I've let it go"

As for

"It's just another day
the shame is gone"

it's probably a more specific to the memory so its open to interpretation.
anyway LACUNA COIL 4EVER!!! \m/(>.<)\m/

Lacuna Coil – Tight Rope Lyrics 16 years ago
Lacuna Coil's songs are mostly about a quarrel between lovers. I have listened to all of their music and don't find any connection to religion. But if you were looking for it I could understand but this song is most likely about someone that is kept on a tight rope by their partner and feels victimized by the controlling partner's actions and words.

Lacuna Coil – Cold Heritage Lyrics 16 years ago
I've been listening to Lacuna Coil for years now and this is by far my favorite song. But unlike what has been previously said about the song this is not about people who won't admit their feelings to one another. Its a song about someone that wronged a person they love which had the effect of that person losing faith in (the singer) and the they want to person to realize they still love them.

The constant "forgive me" throughout the song defines the guilt this person feels. But the most misunderstood phrase in the song is
"illusion falls when you're not honest about the way I feel"
which i feel is best perceived as a denial of the person's feelings which would come off in a relationship as if the person never cared or doesn't care. This is backed up by
"Don't tell me why
I'm so near to commit a crime
when I stay alone here in front of you
(I'm here)"
which would be the mistrust the person feels now while(the singer) wants to convince them otherwise.

A good example of the cheating scenario can be explained through
"And I'm lonely here inside of me
deep inside of me"
"The night embrace me while
this picture simply blows me away"
this comes off to me as a statement of the regret and loneliness they feel over this person and in
"believe in the light in me"
describes how they want that person to give them another chance (aka look for the good in them)

"I've never
never felt myself this way before
I don't want to leave you with my tears
If you'll disappear"
"Falling on my knees only for you"
These are strong statements of the feelings they have for the person and the hurt they feel over the matter at hand.

But if all that doesn't sit well with you whatever. I've been in a few relationships in which I felt this way completely and I thought this song was obvious in what it described.
