For once, I can actually relate one of their songs to one of their videos. He's with a girl, and she's over him, but she's still with him for some reason. He's 'damned if he does her' because she's gonna break up with him soon, and 'damned if he doesn't' maybe because she holds something over him (such in the video it's his teacher) but he's giving up everything for her. That's my opinion. It's very catchy. 'I fought it for a long time now, while drowning in a river of denial' I LOVE that line. Anyways, the video makes sense in a way, because it's his teacher, who controls his grade and what not, so: 'damned if I do ya, damned if I don't'. |
