The song is about this: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1003076/posts Wikipedia also mentions it: "Of her lyrics, she says, "I write lyrics about junkyard prostitutes, life in the fearsome crowd and the fact that your lover is 72.8% water." |

These are probably my favorite lyrics by PotF. It doesn't have a particularly deep meaning or something, but it just sounds so freakin' beautiful. Especially the "What is this chill at my heel" part. It literally gives me the chills. =P |

I'm not quite sure if this is about Max. It sounds more like a movie-based lyric, kinda like Invasion. Especially these parts: "youre on my side with a bullet for the bad guys" "you chose me, you are the first born, and an angel youre so brave now i can brave myself" |

| AF is the Air France IATA callsign, but the flight number is fictitious and will probably ever be, because it's a very large number (commercial airlines use flight numbers only up to 4 digits). | |

I think the rocking outro does fit this song perfectly. It's his anger/fear/uncertainty suddenly bursting out. Btw, there's another similar song that comes to my mind, Dire Straits' On Every Street. If you like Tomorrow you should try listening to this. |

Am I the only one hearing "dance TO THE dead"? Might be because I'm not a native English speaker, but it sounds just like that to me... |

Before I knew it was just a joke song, I actually thought the lyrics were about prostitution (except for the "When I was three..." part that really doesn't match it =P). That and I think the guitar sounds quite sad... Bottom line, for me it is and will always be a sad song, even though it was supposed to be the opposite. |

| I'm not religious, but this song made me cry, because it's so deep and beautiful. It's clearly about Jesus and someone who's struggling to keep his faith. | |

"It's the little things, little things, little things, that make the world" Very simple, yet so true. This is one of my favorite lines ever in a song. I can't even count now how many situations in my life have made me realize that. And all of a sudden it feels like Marko comes in and starts singing this loudly inside my head, like he doesn't want me to ever forget it... |

The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory, and maybe even a bit silly... But I think it's a great, catchy song nonetheless. |

First of all, he's got the right to say whatever he wants to say, and you're being just waaay too paranoid about a freaking song's lyric. He says he's "coming from a long line of traveling sales people", so he learned out of experience how people can be deceiving. Life told him he shouldn't trust in strangers. Now how can you possibly judge someone else? Allow yourself to experience his life and his feelings first, perhaps then you might be able to say something... ------- You know, I have Jehovah's Witnesses in my family, and this comes as no surprise to me. They all seem to have this tendency to over analyze stuff. It seems like everyone is against them all the time. |

| I prefer this version over Fast Cars, IMO The Edge is cooler here. | |
| Sting – The Book Of My Life Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Now the daylight's returning And if one sentence is true All these pages are burning And all that's left is you Remember he said: "...I get very reflective sitting in front of a fire. That's my favorite television program - sitting in front of a fire. The thoughts that come, the memories that come..." The "you" he is talking about, might actually be himself. After the reflection, he is finally able to relieve the past (pages are burning), and all that's left is the present. "You". |
