| Lady GaGa – Bad Kids Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Actually, that's one of my favorite lines in the song. It's so powerful for me. I kind of think of that whole first verse as her taking on the persona of someone that's been made fun of and called names so many times that she believes them to be true. They called her a bitch so she says, "I'm a bitch," ect. Anyways, it makes me think that her hypothetical parents may have told her she ruined their lives, and that's why she's saying that. (Not saying her real parents actually said that lol) | |

I always imagined someone time-traveling. Someone was somehow sent to the future and they wake up on a beach or somewhere. They think they are alone until they find their future version significant other who reassures them and says how everything's alright and how their hopes will live on and that "This is the future and you are alive." And at the end when he sings, "You're headed home," he's sending the person back home to their original time with their hopes renewed and the thought that there is still a future and it is still waiting for them. Such a powerful song. |

Even though I am not religious, I have a feeling that this song is probably talking about God. However, I think it is a song about very strong love; a love that was so strong that it made him see himself for what he was, both the good and the bad. He wanted to change (be 'made new') because he saw the flaws in himself. When his lover was going to leave, he realized that he couldn't bear going on without her. Or you can just throw away my logic and say, "Yay, God!" Whatever floats your boat. |
