George Bush after 9/11 ultimately did not defend freedom; rather he stole freedom from the American people. However, most American's were too "blinded to see" from the horrors of 9/11 that they initially let George Bush do whatever he wishes. He had control like a deity of sorts, but democracy has prevailed. |

I'm sorry, I have no evidence to back it up; my interpretation of "stab your facebook" may be completely wrong. But, I guess I'm biased in that lately I'm just becoming awakened to the waste of time Facebook causes and the potential addictive nature of it. So, when I heard "stab your facebook" I was a bit in awe and believed, and hoped, that they had a similar outlook on the Facebook Phenomenon. As a poster has just recently interpreted, it may just be that Twitter is better or something. But to me that is the message I get from it, and I thank them for it. |

I feel this has a lot of correlation to "stab your facebook". Though, maybe I'm just reading into that because of my obsession lately with Facebook killing this Generation. "here's a growing culture deep inside a corpse" Culture is growing more and more into Facebook and social networking, but it is actually a corpse of socialising, as you miss out more and more on life experiences. The chorus is extremely powerful; it gets to me everytime, because I simply relate to it. I feel that the spirit that is speaking to him is him doing some serious soul searching (spirit and soul are often synonymous), introspecting, delving deep into his subconscious as to who he truly is, only to realise that he is very much an enigma. As the chorus states, he is a different creature (personality) depending on his location (situation, who he is with etc). It appears that while he can relate well to others and adapt to situations easily, it allowed him to lose track of who the true 'him' is; hence, The Enigmatic Spirit. Obviously, unable to identify who he truly is doesn't give him much self-confidence (as one would expect), giving us the concluding lines: "The error in heavens masterplan." |
