i think it's that he WANTS to try it again, but he knows it could never work out. he wishes it would, but it wont. that's why it says "crying" i dont know, that's just my person interperatation of the song... but im weird so it doesnt matter to you! :D |

to me (since this has sort of happened, so this is how i feel it is) it seems like it's about a girl, who wants to get back in a relation ship that didnt work before, but the guy knows it wont work, so he wont get back with her.. although he wants to. "Crying can't carry you back to me. " |
