I was wondering if this had any connection to begin transmission. Personally, I thought begin transmission was sort of an experiment. Which sounds crazy, but think about it. It brought a couple random people to short-lived fame, which seems what the album is based on. It's a sketchy idea....any thoughts? |

I find this song to be a definite reference to nostalgia. But looking at the rest of the album I thought it might be nostalgic of the innocence of childhood/childhood love("where we used to play"), as an escape from the insanity of the "temporary" love sung about in Medicate ("you don't even know my name"). Although, I've heard this isn't supposed to be a concept album, so who knows. Either way it's one of my favorites, right up there with 100 words. |
