i don't think that's the whole story... I think he's definitely wasted, yes, but i think this lyric... "You see my head's off resting in this delusional stare" compares his intoxication to death, or near-death euphoria. This causes some people to have an epiphany. For example, some people who have overdosed and "cheated death" believe in god after the fact because they "saw a light at the end of a tunnel" another one caught my eye that sort of confused me. "We're so very insignificant; Embarrassment to molecules" I think that suggests his epiphany during his stupor made him realize the impact of a single human life on the earth, which is essentially zero. (Comparable to a molecule?) That's my take on it, I may be way off. the only thing i know is SUICIDE SILENCE IS FUCKING BRUTAL! |
