This song is about two people that came from bad homes. She climbed out of the "River" and he escaped from under water. (he uses water to symbolize the poisoned homes they grew up in) Now they have met, they can build a life togher to keep the "water" out. They'll live in the radio's hot sun. Dan Boekner wrote this song with the other Hansome Furs band member (his wife Alexei Perry). This song is about building a new life together around music. |
