I support your point about the sugar being the forbidden fruit, because of the serpant and it's "breathing tail," in the beginning, and Eve "listening." To "divide, disperse and grow" is to multiply and redistribute that sin. I feel like he mentions this bit in the beginning to justify why he seeks metanoia. |

About someone who has a disease, probably a serious STD He thought he found the perfect place a little town to bury his mistakes -has trouble facing what has happened to him, as there seems to be regret. But when he finally settled in the songs about his life began to spin As he heard the broken verse the truth about himself came out and burned -Can't seem to get a grip on himself Things we can't let go wrap around our throats Until there's nothing left to do but choke - Thoughts of suicide because he can't let go what has happened to him. His panicked heart's a starting gun, he hears the beat and feels the need to run To anywhere to anyone - He has panic attacks and is very scared Time it moves so slow when you're futures unknown - When you're unsure how longer you're gonna live, time moves slow. When what you want is what you had - He threw it all away...he had what he wanted from life, but now he cant have the things he could've had, family, relationships without his disease coming in the way. The last verse is his dear friend trying to stop him from letting this disease take over his life. Tells him to relax and that himself and his family are there for him and they're willing to overlook the mishap. |
