To me the song is about rising up against an oppressor.
The line "SIC SEMPER TYRANNUS" is Latin and translates to "Thus always to tyrants" (its also what John Wilkes Booth shouted after shooting Lincoln). Then there are the lines "I Hope you die, We broken people" and "From slave to master".
Basically talking about her rising up against a tyrant. Could even be taken as her revenge after being raped. |

winterman basically nailed it. To me, this part of Dr. King's speech, especially the line "cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love", is talking about how you can't undo the atrocities of war. Even with wisdom, justice and love you can't replace everything that is lost in war. The real tragedy that is in the aftermath of war which is where the next song "Iridescent" comes in.

I completely agree! Chester's voice has so much power behind it any ways, but in this song it seems like he's putting every single ounce of strength into each word. Truly amazing, and every time I hear it I tear up at least a little.

As simple as this song is, it is probably one of the deepest songs on the new album. King's words are so strong, and with the rest of the album you really get a sense of what the band is trying to say with this album as a whole. |

WTF!!! What the fuck do you mean just have another one caboose? It's not just as easy as that. Some people (the ones with hearts anyways) can't jut get over an abortion. It's not like they just did something small here... They killed their own fucking child. Its even worse to get over if it's not what they guy wants and the chick does it anyways. Fuck I had to deal with my ex stressing herself out to the point where she miscarried and as an acident (atleast thats what she says) it not something thats easy to get over. |

First i'm pretty sure its Frisco Bay.
Second... I Love this song. One of my homies was talking about how he didn't know if he would like the new Cd so I threw this song on for him and he's just as hooked as I am. It's probably one of the deepest songs they've done and that says a lot. No one really realizes that we are all surrounded by miracles everywhere we look. Hell the simple fact that any of us are here is a miracle in itself. And I challenge anyone with kids or with friends that have kids to look at them and tell me they aren't a miracle. |

I love this song.
I see it as an "older" man enjoying a day with a young woman. It kind of the story of how she cut school and this man is basically telling her to enjoy her life while she is young and not to get drawn up in unimportant things. That the most important thing in life is to take in and enjoy each day. |
