I always thought it was "stuck down in a rut/this logic is fucked." As a logicianer, I was hoping that was the case at least; I was also hoping F.O.D. was an acronym for "First Order Definable" in this case, but it seems more likely to be "fuck off and die," the last complete line of the song. |

Seems to me to be a pretty silly premise: excluding the "as long as you love me" clause, it's unconditionalized universal acceptance of someone as a partner.
They could be the female version of Hitler, and the singer's still game! "What, you're responsible for the deaths of millions of people? That doesn't factor into my decision on whether or not I'd date you." |
