I have always loved this song. I used to blast it and just scream my lungs out. I was always was a little dissappointed with the lyrics though because I think that this is one of the most emotional songs that they have but the lyrics just didn't relate with me that much. Now I am in a situation where the song couldn't fit any better. I am trying to re kindle a relationship with someone I really care about very much, and I sometimes get the feeling that she doesn't know that. I always get nervous and I always panic. I always try to remeber what she likes, and I am always worried about pleasing her. We try to go on dates but I always manage to screw it up but being nervous or over analysing a situation. I just hope that sometime soon I was will remember to breath and the everything will be okay. |

I know that I don't know the true meaning behind it and what he really wrote it for but that was what the song means to me and that is what I am asked to write and what I think the purpose of this site is. Sorry if I offended any "ture" fans by my interpretation that is according to them "wrong." But songs should mean something to you personally and not just what the band wrote them about. You should find yourself in them and get lost in it. That is how you enjoy music. Let yourself go. wow I think I have said enough. sorry about that |

This is one of the best and well writen songs I have ever read. I am always impressed when the lyrics are coming from the heart of the person righting them and I don't see how this could be the except here. YOu can hear it in the screams and crys. This is a beautiful song and it means a lot to me. It seems to me that he is talking about how he broke up with this girls who he cares so much about. He felt that he had to do it. It seemed like the right thing at the right time but it wasn't. He had to make a decision and it was a tough one. He hurt her but he says that she gets what she deserves, but I don't thintk that that is what he wants. he doesn't want her to get what she shoud get because she is everything to him. That is my perspective but I am also highly influenced by my situations in my own life that come through when I write and interpret lyrics. |
