I think the second part of your statement is completely off base. Anthony is not so much about his success, but rather the music. I think that he would be satisfied to touch just a single person's life with his music (although he has touched thousands already). I think he is trying to say that even though they have already achieved success, they are going to die. I think it's more of a laugh at society and how people have becomed enthralled in becoming famous for money or sex and by pretending to have talent, when anthony is just interested in his own style of fame which society doesn't accept. also, i love the line "Free thinkers only thrive in history books" |
