I agree with rettemich on the part that the song involves feeling of wanting to give up and needing someone to save you. I do believe that they are talking about God. The only thing I kind of think differently is that at the part where he says, "I've got a hero (I've got a hero) / living in me," I believe that it was God who gave him the strength to rise above his problems on his own, to show that you can handle your problems through faith. I can relate to this song as well. |
