This is in a review by Q Magazine about this song: "Destined to be the significant closing track to a thousand teenage mixtapes, the band of the moment clock up an epic (for them) four-minute ballad evoking youth passing all too quickly. Altogether now: Put a wetsuit on/Grow your hair out long/Put a T-shirt on. What does it all mean? Like all the best dumb pop lyrics, nothing and absolutely everything." This song is indeed about youth passing too quickly. When you're young you do adventurous things in a wetsuit (and look silly), you grow your hair out long (guys and girls) because you can, and you wear t-shirts because every day is casual friday. So this song is about doing things like these because you're young enough to get away with them. You don't get enough sleep, you blame everything on your peer pressuring friends, etc. But most importantly, us youngins should be cut some slack because we're noobs. |

This song is beautiful, I could listen to it over and over again. It's so mellowww. I'm not sure but i think it's about being so in love and so blinded by it that you lose your head "And my mind, askew. Lost and unpacked" My favorite line is "Dark times are cut from different cloth Are not the threads that we are made of" love it. |
