I think im going to redevlop my point here. I have thought about this song and see and full story in it. As I said before the intro still makes me see a young man who just wants a girl to love him, and by her misunderstanding his actions due to him being messed up, she forces him off her and after the boy does a sinister insane laugh. It then cuts into a flashback to him and a sister, and their mother enters. You see in the second line of the verse that the mother is injecting herself, suggesting she is a heroin addict. it then cuts to the mothers fists as she is beating the boy, and his sister is being forced to watch it. She goes to grabthe phone to call the police but her mother grasps her arm and then says to her "free thinkers are dangerous" and then its the boys turn to watch his sister beaten half to death in front of his eyes during the "Blame, hate for fates seed" bit. It then cuts forward in time. The children have been moved to an orphanage or carers home. He still goes to the same school he did before and the kids mock him for being taken away from his mother. At the part of "lives rearranged" part be begins releasing his anger out on the carers home and belongings. He is stopped by the carers with a look of shock and discust on their face and are once again forced out after complete destroying the house after getting out of the grip. It then snaps back to the present as the young mans rage comes all in one. It then leads him to cause a massacre. The last person he kils is the girl that he was obssessed over at the beginning. Upon realising what he had down he holds the body and whispers "look at each other" as a form of comfort for what he had done. By the end of the song, he suicides. I began thinking this story up several months ago, and its now what I think of whenever I hear the song. If I was good at art I would anime this out but yeah. This is what I see, as messed up kid who is trying to find love and acceptance, caused by never getting the nurtue he needed as a child and abuse and rejection from everybody else. This in the end is what causes massacres, not video games or music, but bullying and destroyed families. |

I see it as yes a person who is messed up, who just wants someone to love, but him being messed up is rejected by everyone who trys to be with by being overobsessive. At first he is the person, trying to lure them close, and to me "look at each other" sounds more like "we got each other" in a crooning comfort. At that point I can see a man with an insane look in his eyes, holding and stroking a girl he wants to be his girl friend. Then she bursts out screaming at him "GO AWAY" because hes terrafying her. The insane laugh following represents his insanity. And then the weird verses are showing his background "Free thinkers are dangerous" This obsessive desire for comforting love may be driving him further insanity and may lead him to strike out at everyone who rejected him. He does not want to be rejected. |

with the sweet berries what i think it might be is that someone may have had a strange religious experience which set them to peace, and they are explaining it to someone, the "sweet berries for two" could be a metaphor, but I am not sure myself, however, this hypothesis might be correct since the reply to the talk of berries and ghosts seems skeptical. in this case it does represent the difference of views between people, and how people are closed minded and unwilling. speaking of which, I hate it when athiests call religious people closed minded when athiests often poo-poo their views. anyway, yes its the different of views and people thinking people talking about their spiritual experience are crazy. before I get hate mail from athiests, you may be pointing out your opinion to people, but with my experience they way you do it is extremely hurtful and condescending. take note of that and approach the debate with a bit more care if you a friends with the person. now, if we take the video in perspective, the answer is similar, just including the belief of reincarnation after death. |

You get these when you have tapped into your innervision, but finding your innervision is trying to use that energy to bring yourself to what you desire to be. |

im not going to look at it like its Charles Mnason, otherwise it would seem most of Soads songs are linked to either him, drugs, war or genocide. my friend brought up a really brillient perception of this song. this song could be about an ancient tree and deforestation. to evaluate: "All the world I've seen before me passing by" to a tree time is barely anything when you can live for hundreds of years on end. "Hey you, see me, pictures crazy" many people like to take pictures in forests "You don't care about how I feel, I don't feel it anymore" because some people are ignorent of trees being alive due to no show of emotion, they cant care. once the tree is cut down, it cannot feel because it is dead. it is possable and logical is it not? |

personally in terms of the song versions the beats take different impacts the sabbath version is the person is secretly aware of his addiction and is depresed because he cant get rid of it, thus the slower version (i think) the Soad version is more lively, like a Blizzard than a light drift. it takes on the impression of a bit more of a party and the person loves it, but very deep inside denies it subconciously. no need to say about the "dont you think i know what im doing" bit, thats obviously when someone speaks to them about it and warning them that they are taking it too much |

what i say is that it does not seem to have aything to do with abortion, but definately about revenge. it is either on the girl who broke his heart and it is retalliation, or something happened to her which she got over and he was planning to take revenge on the person who did that to her, but it was no longer necessary and the girl saw the attempt as pathetic. and by the end of the song it then turns on her but the broken heart seems the most plausable |

i dont think it is about the illuminati, just doesnt feel right... well something about it does but not quite by taking into account what has been said about it being about people conforming and causing the idiocracy theory true and the analogy to popcorn is correct. connecting this to the illuminati, who is believed to be an organisation behind the whole control of the world and such, these guys will be extremely intellegent. so yes, this could be the world in the view of the illuminati and other intellegent groups. when you think about ti being about the illuminati this way, asd wll as their songs having meaning, and how co-incidental it was that they found out that they were armenians (i mean how they found out that each other was armenian, not themselves), all of it seems to make me think it was actually linked to the illuminati, and that SOAD are the voice of the illuminati to train a generation into sharper and deeper thought stream, strengthening a large amounts of peoples logic and morals, making them into the perfect and ideal race, as humans have always dreamed to be, thus the "fallen ruby". or maybe im just thinking about this too much, but interesting theory, and i wouldnt mind this if it means having a better race in the future. but anyways back to the song yes, it is about idiocracy, and if you want to see how the world would look if this happened, see the movie idiocracy, where the most popular movie in 2500 is "ass" which is just someones ass for 2 hours straight, everyone found it hilarious >_> the theory says something along the lines of "those who breed the most lose the most intellegence" or something, and shows a couple with IQs of 141 or something, then the next generation breeds more and the generation after has average IQ, in the background you see the family tree in ridiculous proportions with the IQ sufficiently decreasing. so when you are watching this movie: Don't leave your seats now, Humans everywhere, canned, Clich� people organs rare, Humans everywhere, canned, Clich� people cannot dare, now, this is also about conformity, because those who do conform into a modern urban gang or group tend to be the ones who lead to following the fashion and can also lead to drugs and smoking, caused and is credit to brain damage or low IQ ill stop going on about this now, i want to say more but ill be ranting. |
