Okay, so this is just my opinion, of what I think the song is about, or really I don't think this song is about this, probably not in all honesty, but I came up with a great story-line for this song. I think it could be about a man who is turning into something we all fear, something supernatural (like a werewolf, vampire, etc.) and he is in love with his significant other, and he knows that if he stays with her, he could definitely hurt her, and he wouldn't be able to take hurting her, or possibly killing her, and he knows he has to leave, but he can't bring himself to do it, but he is trying, and I think "there's a dark side to us all" and the "I've never known the taste of blood till now" kind of fits with this explanation. That's my opinion. |
