I think the band kinda knew that this would be their last album they ever put out together as that band. Staley was getting worse by the minute, and everyone was starting to seperate. If they hadn't released "black gives way to blue", if you would listen to every studio album in chronological order from front to back, this would be the last song you hear. |

i think this song is about the two things, love, and music. Thats really all there is to his life. "Think about how many times I have fallen. Spirits are using me, larger voices calling.
What heaven brought you and me cannot be forgotten." In this he is talking about how many times he should've quit music, quit life, or been in an entirely different situation, but he realizes his calling from the heavens above is to make music and spread love |

I listen to a lot of rock n roll music. I love zeppelin, the stones, puddle of mudd, tool, heavy metal, classic rock... But for some reason i really like this song haha. Its real catchy and you can't tell me the vocals on this song aren't really good. The concept of boy bands may be extremely gay.... but you gotta admit, some songs were't have bad that came out of that era. |
