| I don't think the singer is interested in revenge -- this song isn't about anger and pride as much as it's about disappointment and regret and betrayal on a much deeper level than bruised feelings and crushed ego. It's one of the saddest and wisest songs I've ever heard because it recognizes that two people are in trouble, and only one of them has enough heart -- even though it's torn apart -- to cry for both of them.
