I think that this song is about somebody who is being pulled over by a police officer and the person is on cocaine. Before they are being pulled over they are doubting their decision to take drugs, but the drug is persuading them, "don't be alarmed...". The drug is becoming them, "Misleading at most, I'm supposed to imposter a new you.". Then the police is pulling them over and he/she phases back into their own consciousness for a moment begging, "Cut me gently, Cut me out of mind." -- just my interpretation... it's kind of sketchy as it seems to disagree at some points! Maybe you guys can build off of it?
