I think its about a "friends with benefits" relationship She needs him in her life but he doesnt know it. He thinks the whole thing is casual and has no clue it means so much to her. She is afraid to tell him how much he means to her because she's afraid it will scare him off but at the same time she realizes how amazing her life would be if they were to be together. so instead of confronting the situation she just say f*ck it and has a "screw it just dance with me" attitude. like lets just enjoy the moment. |

This song is insane, i get the chills everytime i listen to it. I agree that its def about first love but also more than that. I think its about the intense shut everything else out kind of love. The kind that feels like its simply meant to be, the kind that never fades and when you expiernce the entire universe makes sense. Anyways thats my take on it. |
