the sad undertones are that she is in another relationship and has found a new love that she is happy with but she is scared because she burned her bridges to go back to her other partner. she's happy with her new choice but references her fear again with "where would I be if this were to go under, that's a risk I'd take." "froze by desire" is an awesome line because she knows what she's doing is wrong but she can't help it... great song, this band pierces my heart. |
