I agree with the idea that it's about people trying to be someone they aren't at the moment, but the lines: If you look everybody here is trying on new faces, And the ones that fit are surprisingly contagious, make me think that it's more about how people try and be like other people. Like, that's what that celebrity is wearing, and s/he is famous, so I should do that. So, it's like trying on all of these designer things to become someone you aren't, which is something everyone seems to be doing nowadays. |
