YYZ is indeed the Lester B. Pierson airport in Toronto but there is a little more to it than that, Pilots have to identify navigational aids to make sure they are "monitoring the station" : ) the correct station that is. This is done through morse code. When over the outer marker at YYZ you hear a tone that is the cymbal solo that opens the song. Geddy said in an interview he always likes hearing it because he's home. |
