Hello ya'll I'm high and thought it would be an appropriate time to work some shit out here. Alright, so I know Krysta and Steven so I'll just throw some shit out there. First of all, some were correct in the anti-war/government ideas (Oh, and, whoever was wondering, Krysta does write the lyrics). That being said, most of the ideas are only discernible on a very vague, idea-based level. Anyone rolling out like THIS SONG IS WRITTEN LIKE LEGIT SHIT is probably fan-boying hard. It's a poor example of lyricism, but is, in fact, there. Also, she can do much better and there's some decent lyrics on the album. Whether she tries to keep her vocals muddled or not is kind of irrelevant; if you're looking for the music then it doesn't matter, if you're looking for lyrics you won't like this band very much. The idea of using a voice an instrument, and not just presenting lyrical ideas is apparent in many great bands as well (see Sigur Ros). Ehhhmmm..also..anyone rolling in here like yo diz band so gud u dont evn no shit bout nuffin diz is grindc0re n worsdasdklsjfksd. Shut the fuck up, you're unintelligible verbiage makes you, and other followers of any band, seem like you: a 13-year old rebelling from your mommy by being hxc. Also they're not "scene", don't make baseless assumptions. That being said I do enjoy this band greatly, and, apparently, amphetamines. |
