that used to be "my" song, for a very long time. its exactly what tagtraeumerin said. there are some moments in your life when you can't feel what love is, even though everyone seems happy and in love. you feel very out of place 'cause no one seems to understand how you feel. actually it looks like he despises all the happy people, yet there's a need to end this loneliness, you hope that someone will take you home... anyway, and that line "i'm in the twilight of my youth, not that i'm going to remember" is so true. no one realizes that the exact moment is gonna be so important in one's life. thank RA for this amazing piece of music, which is one of my all time favorites |
