I absolutely love this song. The first time I heard it I was moving and driving across the country leaving my boyfriend behind. I mustve listened to it a thousand times crying like a baby each time :/ Anyway great song.. It's pretty self explanitory what it's about.. |

| not religious at all, but the obvious meaning comes from Genisis/Adam and Eve. Im sure there more than one meaning, there always is with Dustin.. but i think the Genisis thing is the brute of it. pretty sure this has already been said so yea. just my opinion.. | |

i think its about a man in the navy(or any branch for that matter) and his wife/girfriend I've seen this one before, the girl she gets away Everybody knows it but no one tries to stop it Cause she barely even knows him but if she could see inside Everything is quiet as she waits to tell him who she is it seems like people in the military(not everyone and not restricted to the military) dont know their significant others as they thought. they grow apart, they cant help it. |

it sounds like what stewart715 said; its about his Grandfather who just lost his wife recently. "Gone for now feels a lot like gone for good" - shes gone but he will see her again someday, but it feels like and eternity. and the "she'll be home" part - home with god? Im not religous at all, but this is what it seems like to me. |

i think its about a guy and girl who are pregnant, he wants to keep it but shes thinking of abortion or vice versa i suppose. she cant deal with his decision so shes leaving. it leads me to believe that HES the one who wants to keep it though cause of the lines: "I know you're leaving now Cause I held on to my way tightly Stay still until you know Tomorrow finds the best way out is through" and "Her bag is now much heavier I wish that I could carry her" great song regardless of what it means, always been one of my favorites off this album. |

| These lyrics are amazing, they all are. The songs mean so much more to me when the lyrics have a meaning, some of them are right to the point and others make you think and do some research. Thrice is amazing. Always has been and always will be. Awesome album yet again. Can't wait for their next creation! | |
