i love this song(: i don't think it's about death, i think it's just a beautiful, nostalgic song about a break up or having someone close to you just walk out of your life. or it could be about loving someone who doesn't love you back and eventually just giving up, "at your funeral, i was so upset" could be the part where he gives up on her? haha i know it doesnt make that much sense, but thats just what i got from it |

I love this song, it's so cute but still insightful and meaningful, like all of Taylor's songs(: I think it's about a girl who lives her life always dreaming big and hoping for the best. It starts out when she's really young and getting ready for her first school dance, then when she's like 16 and going on her first date and then when she's like 18 or whatever and moves out of the house. Her growing up and becoming a woman all revolves around what she wears (cute little dress for her first dance, jeans and an abercrombie shirt for her first date, and then fabulous elegant dresses when she's in Paris or whatever.) |

I love this song! I think it's one of Taylor's happier, "yay, boys aren't so terrible!" songs, and it reminds me a lot of how I felt about this guy I was "talking to" a while ago. I think it's definitely about that; being really into someone but not being officially "together" yet, and wishing they would just take the plunge and be with you, but they're not taking the hint. That can be so frustrating; when you really like someone, and you think they maybe do like you back, but somehow you aren't together and you can't help but wonder why. Taylor's telling the guy (I think it's about Taylor Lautner...that's just my opinion though(: ) that she'll love him and be there for him and that he can commit to her because they're so perfect for each other. |

| Okay this is definitely NOT about Joe Jonas. Apparently she wrote it when she was younger...like 14 or 15? I think it's definitely about being in love/obsessed with a celebrity, but you'll never tell who it is. A girl goes to one of his concerts, sits in the front row, and just watches him in awe the whole time, and then realizes ever other girl in the arena or whatever is just as in love with him as she is, and that to him she's just another screaming girl in the crowd ("I'm no one special, just another wide-eyed girl who's desperately in love with you.") Then she wakes up the next morning and just daydreams about him, and mourns over the fact that he'll never love her the way she loves him, because he's a "superstar" and she's just a fan. | |
