Bruisa, but WITH faith, it has caused almost EVERY single major war, every killing spree, every mass execution... Maybe suicide is better. However, I have to disagree - I have no faith in anything, and my noose is still tucked away |

"...but they fail to recognice that god made the earth and he's the one that help people on earth make the medicines that cure poeple..." Supersprm57, if that WAS true, that would mean "God" is also the one that is making people suffer a VERY slow and painful death caused by an incurable disease, as you read this. If there is a "God" He doesn't give a shit. "God" didn't "help people on earth make the medicines that cure poeple", the "People" spent LOTS of time, money, and research to cure the disease that "God" threw in to F**K with us |

| Tool – Forty Six & 2 Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I watched a 2 hour Exposé on evolution, and it reminded me of this song. Although I don't think its what they intended, since its kind of backward, I found it interesting Apes and monkeys and such have 48 chromosomes, or 24 pairs. Now saying that we evolved from apes, would be saying that somehow a pair vanished. Well it didn't go away cause that would be lethal, but what he found was that the 2nd chromosome in humans, is actually made of TWO chromosomes fused together, that would explain where the chromosome difference came, and would also add a lot more to the theory of evolution, because naturally chromosomes don't form like that... so at one time there must have been an original with regular chromosomes. So if we look for an animal with 48 chromosomes, and the closest to our species, we see monkey's. Not really relevant, but this song popped into mind the second he said that |

| Tool – L.A. Municipal Court Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
MAYNARD: "LA Municipal Court" is definitely a tribute to life in L.A. If you've ever been in L.A. trying to go down and take care of a parking ticket, or call and try to get some information as to how to take care of a parking ticket, or a jaywalking ticket, or something as ridiculous as that, you really realize how sick the red tape is out here. It's retarded. Most people who've ever been in that situation can relate to that song, and I think we did a pretty good job of capturing the tedium that goes along with that, to the point where people go, "That was a great song. It really summed up that feeling, and I never want to hear that song again [laughs]." |
