*person, and I meant to say "how it is rejecting conformity in general." obviously I'm not as articulate

Simply an outright rejection of religious conformity, in my view, but I could also see how it is rejecting conformity, since they tend to write lyrics that go along those lines. I think it is beautifully articulated and the song pumps me up to be individualistic

Clutch – Careful With That Mic Lyrics 16 years ago
Could be insulting fred durst, but lil wayne is also known as weezy, that's who I think Neil is dissing specifically. But the song title reads "Careful with that mic..." as if to imply that more than one artist could be put into this context, so it is also song about shitty mainstream music in general. Props to Clutch, some of the most intelligent lyricism I've ever encountered.

Clutch – Willie Nelson Lyrics 16 years ago
Honestly, I think this song is about police profiling and how ridiculous it is. In the song, the cops are obviously raiding his house, harassing him, threatening him and try to find drug paraphernalia, probably without good cause. He's not sure what is happening, or who to blame (hence the first part of the chorus) but he knows all the while the top rich people smoke weed or whatever and openly admit to it and glorify it and everyone knows they do, yet you don't see the cops raiding their house and harassing them. But that's just my interpretation.

p.s. the line "wait a minute tough guy" is actually "save your bullets tough guy" I understand though, it's hard to tell exactly what Neil is singing in many of his songs.
