well I have played this song for milion times, I am famous on youtube for making fun of this song , and change the meaning of the song and such. I drool the song and here is the meaning of the song: There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold (there is a lady who believes in being rewarded) And she's buying a stairway to heaven. (and she wants to do something to get that rewarding) When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed (and she knows when she get to that stage, even if she doesnt have access to anything) With a word she can get what she came for. (but she will be satisfied) Ooh, ooh, and she's buying a stairway to heaven. (and she is trying to do anything she can to get rewarded) There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure (there are instructions for her (ie. if the reward is heaven, bible would be sign on the wall)) 'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings. (but still she is worried about what to do , because words always had more than one meanings, you cant know exactly what those words mean) In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings, (and you look at the other signs thatare not written in words) Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven. (a day that finally every one is satisfied with what they get) If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now, (if you are facing challenges now, dont be worried) It's just a spring clean for the May queen. (it is something that you have to pass through in order to be rewarded) Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run (yes there are two or more options that you can choose now but why to be worried while at the end of the day)) There's still time to change the road you're on. (you can change if you like) And it makes me wonder. Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know, * this part of the song is my favouritt part because the meaning of the song is within the music, here is when the actually beat starts, and if you get high, or drunk or if your body is loose and you are into music, you will see that with the beat your head will go up and down (you are humming this song and the music in your head and you cant stop it while you are not aware of it (ie. you are not aware that your head is going up and down, you just do it into the beat of music without thinking)) The piper's calling you to join him, (and this is when the person who rewards you and/or controls your life/your mood, wants you to just do what is writen in your destiny ad just to move on) Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know (dear lady , do you hear what direction wind blows ) Your stairway lies on the whispering wind.
