this song is amazing, it makes me almost want to cry. but i think it means that he loves this girl and he looks for her but the only thing that he knows is that shes on a coast of somewhere beautiful. and this is just an AMAZINGGGG SONG I THINK!!! Kudos to Kenny!!! hes such and amazing Artist!! |

I like to think that this song is about his insomnia, he would rather be asleep when hes awake, but he cant go to sleep. He says "I would like to believe that planet earth turns slowly" is him saying that hes not sure what to believe "The real world" as we call it or "Dreams" again as we call it. And the line "'Cause I get a thousand hugs from ten thousand lightning bugs try to teach me how to dance" is another way, saying that the "lightning bugs" are the dreams that he has (And since he has the insomnia he barely has any dreams.) and they are trying to get him to remember, maybe. The lines "(Take me away from here) 'Cause I feel like such an insomniac" is like hes tired of not being able to sleep, hes just tired, but he cant go to sleep, and are the dreams real to him or is the "Real life" real. Hes just not sure what to think. I think its just another way of expressing dreams hes had, and including real life situations in the song. Comment tell me what you think!! |
