I remember listening to this song with my dad. It was around the same time that I started playing bass. This was actually one of the songs, if not *THE* song that brought me into the world of classic rock (note, I'm seventeen). Anywho, I remember hearing Ian Anderson talking about this song. When he was in one of his apartments, a neighbour (a floor below, I think) was an aspiring classic guitarist, and would play Bourree constantly. This was Ian's way of saying '**** you!'. |
