Grant has writen many songs about "change", on how pathetic is the world and how it needs a change like we the people need. nevertheless this song is different because it states that the real change will probably never happen because we don't have the guts to make our revolution and when a change happens it will be for the worse. unfortunately this pessimistic song proves true these days. the powerful nations are making wars against the others with the excuse of terrerism but the true answer is that they do it only for money (and they become the real terrorists). "love" and "peace" are unknown words. everytime something new happens it's something bad... |

these days people have turned into machines, selfish machines that are fighting only for ego and not for anyone else. the world is the "big machine" that eats all of us. No miracles can save us but we can save ouselves by changing our confrontation against life and against everybody. the outro of this song says "we are one, we are family". we are family no mater the race, sexual preferences, political opinions. we can change the world if we can stop being selfish, being blinded by our personal goals and if we start to care about each other. |
