the dizzy haze of drugs and it might not be the true meaning, but for me it represent someone who can't make up their mind about a relationship/thing and the various oscillations they experience. they're in control. but they can't make up their mind. the other person is upset but the narrator just wants to be free, if only we were nothing at all - if they could just see that life is a transient experience and be as detached as the person in charge. just go with the flow. enjoy it. don't put so much depth into everything. |
