| the first stanza tells about the love that was lost while the succeeding stanzas tells how it happened. It's about this guy who thought she's found the girl when suddenly alot of other girls come popping out giving him other options which make it too difficult to choose. The guy wanted to have his cake and eat it too so he didn't choose and beause the guy didn't choose he lost the girl, and because he didn't choose he ended up with no one and now he was longing for the girl he should've been with. but the girl doesn't want him anymore. The song then ends with the lesson that everybody wants to get what they can't have and because of this get nothing in the end. so yeah. that's just my take coz i think it's happening to me. :/ | |

Ok so this is the story of my life right now, I can relate. :)) I think it's about a guy liking a girl and the girl liking the guy too but none of them wants to admit their feelings for each other first so the thing ends up nowhere. |
