if she said on the radio that the song was about falling in love with your best friend. Then it seems like to me that this song is written to describe how hard it is when you do fall in love with your best friend. Should you tell them or should you wait. If you tell them and they don't feel the same way your friendship will never be the same. If you wait for them to make the first move they may never do it in fear that you don't feel the same way. So you both go on living lives as best friends even though one or both really like each other more then friends. Both people living in fear of rejection. It hurts when you see your love (your best friend) move on and start dating someone else because you didn't make your move or they just didn't like you in the same way. But you are still friends with them so you can spend time with them. A bad romance. You just want to see your friend happy. Because no matter what, your best friends, you'll be there for them. Accepting them for who the are. |

She is talking about letting go of everything she knows is worldy and leaving it up to God. She is taking a giant leap of faith to believe in him to fulfill her needs & make her happy. She is letting go of what she had planned for herself cuz God has a plan for her life already. And as long as she continues to fight against his plan to do what He wants her to do she will never find true happiness. God doesn't like seeing you sad, but you must go through some things as like a test, to build you up and help build strength. It's kind of stress relieving sometimes that you can just lay all your problems on him and ask him to take care of them for you. It's almost like holding your breath and counting to ten in your head and taking a deep breath. It's amazing & so is this song. Their is no unconditional love like God's. |
