| I LOVE this song. It gets me very emotional every time I hear it. It reminds me of what I'm going through with my boyfriend. I've been with him for a year. He always treated me like I was second best to everything else. And he was always very cold and unemotional towards me. Even through all of this, I loved him more than anything... But then I needed to take a break from him about a month ago. It just got too much for me, because I was giving him 110% and I was only getting 20% back! It was breaking my heart. But we started talking again. And he's the one all in love now, and being more involved in the relationship. But I can't let go of how things were before. The scars are too deep. So now I'm the unemotional one, putting up walls. I just don't feel like I love him anymore.. So I can relate to this song so much. It's saying that once you have that break you can step back and see things for what they really are. And the second time around is so hard because you fall out of love once you can see the reality. And it's very heartbreaking, but by this point, you're so detatched that you don't really care anymore. | |
