I think the song means to leave well enough alone. Pretty much like it says. "Loose lips sink ships," at least in my opinion, refers to the subject of censoring war images, meaning that if the media (loose lips) released such photos, America (the ship) would collapse (sink). And in, "can we show a little discipline," it kinda spells it out. Showing discipline would protect the families of soldiers seen in obscene war photographs. |
