I think the narrator is the gay lover of this Johnny, and Johnny wants to kill him 'cause this affair is too troublesome and confusing to him. This part: "I saw hatred in his eyes But he never meant to hurt me" To me means that Johnny hated himself and wanted to hurt himself because he was having a homosexual affair. |
