| B. Dolan – Joan Of Arcadia Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This is one of B. Dolan's most powerful pieces. It's about a few things, all centered around God and people's interpretation of him. The beginning is about people looking for God desperately, and using anything as a sign of his presence. After the hook, the second verse seems to be about how people use these created signs for negative causes, and how the dated Bible and its teachings hold people back from advancing. The ending seems to refer to the affects of this behavior, and how people are so sure of their God and commit atrocities in his name, but there are never true, direct signals that prove that what they are doing is just. That's how I see it, anyway. |

| This is the most political track I've ever heard from Doom. The second verse especially, where he comments on the American outlook on war and attitude towards their political enemies in the Middle-East. Amazing. | |
