I listen to this song a hundred times a day... and I have an idea about Jenny and Johnny. Jenny could be the female from forest gump, It is likely. But Johnny.. Strongly reminds me of Johnny from the Outsiders. A novel. He and a friend named Ponyboy run away after Johnny kills a soc(Popular rich kid) who was harrasing them. It takes place in like the 20-60's era. Or Of course it is completly random and I look like a doof. |

This song does have alot of meaning, maybe not logical meaning, but I really love this song. When it first came out, I didn't like it, but re-listening to the album, this is my newest favorite. It really has to grow on you. "They gave us two shots the back of the head" Is my Favorite line, from probably all of there music, any album. Even though my favorite song will always be "Thank you for the Venom" just because it has so much meaning for me. Exellent work to the band on the second album all together, I have to say it is my favorite. |

I honestly thought this song had the same general meaning, then I looked closer at the meanings, Beautiful bride? Why not Handsome groom? Or if this song is about Jesus/Christ why not Jesus? The song is probably about a sinning bride, and she is having a fight with the groom and she thinks of Jesus, and "Fighting ends in forgivness' is what she figures out, and thinks of how he gave his life and how they should basically stay together, Yada yada. Im not christian, nor do I believe in God, but I believe there was a man named jesus, and I have read the bible, as well as the books regarding other religons, and Thats what I got from this song.
